About Excite

Welcome to Excite - The Exchange for Centricity Imaging Technology End-users

Excite gives PACS administrators, information technology directors, and technologically-savvy physicians the opportunity to network, share information, and communicate best practices. Participation with Excite also affords its members the opportunity to provide product enhancement requests and general feedback to GE with the consensus of a large group of Centricity PACS users.
Activities of the Excite User Group are directed solely by its members with technical support from GE and administrative support from SIIM.

Objective

The objective of Excite is to advance the effective utilization of GE's Centricity PACS by promoting, in the best scientific tradition, the free exchange of information concerning the use of the technology.

The immediate and specific objectives of Excite shall be:

  • To facilitate communication of Excite members and GE relating to the use of Centricity PACS.
  • To provide GE with direction concerning product enhancement and maintenance.
  • To create an environment that will afford Centricity PACS users a forum to exchange ideas and recommend solutions from their PACS colleagues throughout the world.

Who Can Join?

Membership is open to any institution that is a licensee of Centricity PACS, in good standing with GE Healthcare; and will support the purpose of Excite.
